Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara Review

Most people want their mascara to do four things, curl, lengthen, separate and volumize.  This mascara does 2 of those 4 things.  It gives great curl and is great at separating.  It does also lengthen, but not as well as some other mascaras.  To me, it fits under the category of the perfect first coat mascara.

This mascara curved wand gives great lift to the mascara.  The synthetic rubber brush separates the lashes and like most products in the LashBlast line, the blackest black is VERY black.  Unlike the LashBlast line, the formula is not very wet.  There also appears to be a mechanism in the mascara that removes excess mascara from the wand, which is the reason why I think it "crushes" clumps.  Layering the mascara does not do much for the product either.  I would say pair this with your favorite volumizing mascara. For me that is the Maybelline 'The Rocket' mascara.

Overall, I definitely recommend this product, especially since it is very affordable.  For natural lashes, this is perfect! If you want more drama, just add this first and layer with your favorite volumizing mascara.
